    Food I like

    General reccs

    • single-serving avocado and hummus cups: my avocados keep spoiling before i get to use them all. 3rd god of my nutrition: avocado toast, tzatziki rosemary chicken with spinach pita, tacos, wraps, etc.

    • choc hummus: delicious and easy pair with strawberries. I’ve seen it used as healthier alternative to nutella in crepe but I haven’t tried that yet.

    • caprese salad: so easy. Mozzarella, tomato, basil, and balsamic glaze. Wham, bam, healthy and deliciously sweet.

    • peanut butter: god of my nutrition. Keeps you fuller longer because of good fats and protein. Pairs with everything: choc chips, apple, strawberries, banana, rice cake w choc. I eat it a lot by itself too.

    • spinach: 2nd god of my nutrition. High vol, low cal. Keeps you fuller longer. Pair with anything with the right sauce. What’s not to love?

    • salmon: 4th god of my nutrition. Keeps you fuller longer. Super healthy.

    • bell peppers: if I’m too hungry to make a meal, I cut some up and dip in hummus. Bam. Delicious and near-instant. There’s some recipes where you lay turkey/ham and cheese on them too, though I haven’t tried them yet. I pretty much add them wherever I can though because I like them.

    • banana: I don’t think there’s a fruit more useful than this. Used for all sorts of nice cream and smoothies/smoothie bowls. Used for “dough-like” bases such as oats, pancake, muffins, cookies, you name it. A god of multiple talents and we love them for it.

    • tisanes (AKA herbal tea): I’ve mentioned these already in a previous post but sometimes my taste buds just want to taste something and this is a no-calorie thing that grants that wish. Honestly life-saving. Keeps you hydrated in the process too. Keeping hydrated keeps you fuller which can curb some fleeting cravings. A lot of them even have additional health benefits. It’s kind of crazy how good tisanes are. They’re almost too good to be true.

    • feta: makes bland greens or wraps have good taste. Meal-saving savory cheese.

    I’m addicted to these. Sometimes I’d purposefully choose to have only this for breakfast because it tastes so good. I’d eat them for dessert too. Really handy for when I’m too hungry to make food.

    Deliciously creamy froyo. It’s yummy. Mint has super chocolatey bits. Dietician recommended (Dr. Rachel Paul) for prebiotics.

    TruFru raspberries frozen in white and milk choc

    Decadent choc gloriously paired with raspberry.

    Simple but yummy.

    Fresh Start smoothie blend

    Blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, kale, spinach.

    Deliciously sweet and creamy. I toss it in with almond milk.

    Kirkland three berry blend

    Raspberry, blueberry, blackberry.

    Berry galore. My only gripe is it takes a while to strain out all the seeds. I toss it in with almond milk.

    Salmon and cod balls

    I pop it in the air fryer for 8 mins and it’s good to go. I eat it with lingonberry and pair with roasted veggies.

    Halo Top ice crams.

    Lower cal, lower sugar. Delicious. Decadent. Feels like I’m sinning even though I’m not. Great to pair with half a cookie. Absolutely amazing.
